A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT As a Senior Tax Accountant, you provide tailor-made client-specific wealth strategies that are crucial to the financial planning process. You familiarize yourself with client issues and conduct research as necessary, developing effective planning and savings strategies. You prepare specialized returns including multi-state entity returns, as well as develop effective tax planning and savings strategies. With attention to detail, you conduct research and prepare memoranda dealing with tax matters. You assist with training our staff accountants as well. Happy to help wherever you can, you perform a wide variety of duties to assist our team in providing excellent service and building client confidence. You get great satisfaction out of the important part you play in the financial success of your clients! QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting or another related field 3 years of experience with public tax CPA license or progress made on the CPA exam Experience with QuickBooks would be a plus.
