Date Posted: 11/06/2023 Req ID: 34818 Faculty/Division: Vice-Provost, Students Department: University Registrar's Office Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Position Number: 00046770 Description: About us: The Operations unit in the University Registrar's Office (URO) is responsible for providing advice and support to academic divisions and Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) on key processes and systems to support the student experience. These include processes and systems related to admissions, student financial assistance, transcripts and related processes. The Operations unit manages, monitors and evaluates these systems and works with stakeholders across the university to recommend and advocate for system enhancement. This unit is the key central university resource on student information system matters including admissions, financial aid, records, registration and related functions. The Operations unit also provides direct technical and business process support to other SEM units (Student Recruitment, Admissions, and Financial Aid) to ensure the smooth functioning and continued development of technical systems supporting admissions and student records. Your opportunity: The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for managing information systems for first entry undergraduate Admissions; from requirement specification to development, and maintenance to reporting. This includes generating creative solutions and incorporating new technical processes to improve business workflow, production, security, efficiency, and effectiveness. The incumbent will work closely with the Assistant Registrar, Admission Systems and collaboratively with staff in the University Registrar’s Office, University Admissions & Outreach, and other University units to ensure the high-quality execution of technology-supported business processes.
