What You'll Do Backend engineering – maintaining, designing, and creating APIs and services for use by various web and mobile app clients Responsible for both new and existing features and integrations What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience with Python and/or JavaScript Experience with AWS - especially S3, AWS Lambda and DynamoDB Experience with Infrastructure-as-code, CloudFormation or Terraform Extreme attention to detail with regards to code quality Experience with the GitHub ecosystem, including creating and reviewing pull requests Experience with GraphQL Experience creating REST APIs Experience working in the Agile methodology Must be comfortable from the command line Positive attitude and an ability to work well with clients and Experient Group team members Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven experience in designing complex systems solutions Excellent verbal and written communications skills Passion for learning and a passion for solving business problems with technology A strong record of academic accomplishment and 4-year college degree with a major in a Computer Science related field or significant coursework in Computer Science Intellectually curious and communicative Strong inclination to create and maintain good documentation Nice to Have AWS AppSync experience AWS EventBridge, SQS, SNS Github workflows TypeScript Experience with NPM projects and/or code bundling with tools like Webpackor esbuild Working knowledge of OpenID Connect Experience working with ServiceNow General understanding of distributed computing concepts, e.g. CAP theorem AWS Certifications About Us Experient Group is an Atlanta-based business + IT consultancy that offers flexible and innovative solutions tailored to our clients' business environment, culture and budget.
