Practice Area: Finance - Project Finance,Finance - Structured Finance,Finance - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 6 Years, A law firm is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Project Finance Counsel Or Associate Attorney in Los Angeles, CA.Job Overview:Opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers.Part of a collaborative team focused on clean energy and climate solutions sectors.Assume high levels of responsibility and client contact with a range of companies.Gain wide-ranging project and structured finance experience.Duties:Handle project finance and/or structured asset-based finance transactions.Represent sponsors, borrowers, lenders, or investors in the renewable energy industry.Draft and negotiate agreements.Provide legal advice and support.Requirements:6-8 years of substantial transactional experience at a major law firm.Focus on project finance and/or structured asset-based finance and non-recourse lending transactions.Experience in the renewable energy industry preferred.Strong drafting and negotiating skills.Superior academic credentials.Education Certifications:Law degree from an accredited law school.Bar admission in California.Skills:Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of tax equity in solar, wind, and energy storage project assets preferred.Interest in developing broad expertise in financing renewable energy projects.Benefits Offered:Discretionary merit bonuses.Monthly wellness reimbursements.Healthcare coverage for spouse/domestic partner and children.Paid parental leave.Flexible spending accounts.401(k) retirement plan.Basic and supplemental life insurance.Short and long-term disability.Voluntary insurance options.Firm-paid CLE and bar dues.
