Join our growing Distribution team today.Competitive Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K & VacationGrowth and professional development opportunities.Recognition for great work, company events and picnics, and much more.Full-time employment opportunityPosition Purpose:We are seeking a Refrigeration Technician for two Locations to perform PSM / RMP inspections of Several Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, and to ensure the Documentation on Inspections are in compliance with IIAR, ASHRE, ASME, EPA, OSHA, and applicable State and Local Codes.Essential Functions & Basic Duties:Able to perform all Inspections outlined in the PSM (Process Safety Management) and log all the Documentation on to the sites Data Base. Inspections include;Daily, Monthly, Semi Annually, AnnuallyCalibration of Ammonia Detection and Temperature ControlsValve Exercising and Proper OperationCompressor Calibrations and InspectionsCleaning of Evaporator Coils and CondensersPSM Meetings, Safety Drills, and Yearly CertificationsQualifications:Must have experience in conducting Refrigeration Inspections, Calibrations, and PLC Programs to maintain the PSM / RMP Documentation that is mandated by the Local CUPA of Yolo County and the Federal EPA.Education/Certification:Associate 4 year in HVACR or equivalent work experience,Refrigeration/Electrical, Trade School Certification, or Equivalent,RETA Certification.Experience:Experience Minimum needed: 4 years in Ammonia Refrigeration/Electrical.PSM/RMP Knowledge: Minimum 4 years.PSM Documentation 4 years.Knowledge:Experience Minimum needed: 4 years in Ammonia Refrigeration/Electrical.Specialized Knowledge Needed for Performance of Job: Ammonia Refrigeration.HAZMAT knowledge.Good Housekeeping Practices.Good Organization SkillsSkills/Abilities:Computer SkillsScissor Lift CertificationForklift CertificationAble to read Drawings / PlansAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
