My client now seeking a couple of SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYORS with good or C1 level German plus English to join them in FRANKFURT, GERMANY. A background working for construction consultants is required with experience of pre and post contract work for large building projects from inception to completion. THE ROLEDue to continued growth my client now seeks several Senior Quantity Surveyors / Cost Manager / KOSTENMANAGER, in the Building Construction industry who has good German around C1 level and good English to join a firm of construction consultants in FRANKFURT, GERMANY. You will initially work on a 40,000sqm office fit out project in Frankfurt. You will advise customers on strategic, commercial and organizational issues throughout the entire project process. You will be responsible for cost planning and project control across all project phases. You will also do benchmarking and Value Engineering and Value Analysis plus cost reporting etc. My client is working for a range of international companies and projects include retail, logistics and commercial offices and landmark buildings. You should be able to deal with people at all levels and run your own projects. THE COMPANYMy client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing clients with Project Management and Quantity Surveying services with offices in the UK and in the EU. THE CANDIDATEYou will be Degree qualified in a construction related subject e. g. Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering or similar. You may be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor or have at least five years or more Cost Management experience. You will need to have gained five or more years or more post graduate experience or more working as a Quantity Surveyor on large building construction projects. You will need some experience of feasibiity studies, cost estimating, cost planning, cash flow forecasting, contractual advice, value engineering, contractor selection, tender documentation, along.
