Learn More About Our Company AQuality Engineerworks within thequalityteam to ensure the overallqualityof a manufactured product and is tasked with creating documentation, devisingqualitytests and defining the criteria a test result should meet. They play a key role in fixing issues when they arise. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintaining and updating Site Quality System Controlling the 8D/CAR system (both Internal and External) Controlling the Concession system Assisting in the development of the site Quality Plan Point of contact for Certifying bodies Responsible for conformity to customer scorecard and portal requirements Point of contact for CAA (Civil Aviation) Point of contact for TWI (maintaining compliance with CL4 welding approval, which is a key requirement for Rail business) Rail business point of contact Point of contact for preparation, organisation and carrying out of, Customer Audits Control Site audit plan, both Internal and Supplier Undertaking Supplier audits Working with the Manufacturing/Engineering teams to facilitate site improvement Programs Monitoring of reporting members of staff (including LINK responsibilities) Monthly reporting of Quality Issues Updating and maintaining Quality databases Other Key Responsibilities Conducting Site tours for Customers as required Ensuring all associated administrative tasks are completed to the required.
