A senior leadership role responsible for the underlying strategy and methodologies guiding the pricing and monetization of TSYS products and services that underpin the long:term growth and profitability of the TSYS issuer processing business globally. Manages and coaches the team that provides internal pricing/costing analyses and creates pricing models and ad hoc analysis for establishing commercial and contractual constructs. Analyzes historical data and future revenue projections in coordination with other pricing teams in accordance with current industry, regulatory, and accounting standards. Provides leadership to product marketing, sales support and business development teams who serve as specialists in contracts and pricing supporting sales and operations. Participates in regular executive strategic planning sessions to determine impact on business goals for growth from initiatives derived from new products, bundling of new and existing services, changes to services in existing clients, contract renewals, and product sales from contracted vendors. Implements and strengthens the commercial/pricing strategy. Directs a team of pricing analysts to deliver pricing proposals and the appropriate contract documentation to win new clients, to win new business from existing clients and to retain existing clients through renewals. Coordinates and provides guidance for the financial performance analysis and complex ad:hoc reporting for budget, forecast and strategic plans. Develops/prepares pricing and cost analyses using specifications provided by clients to build expense (TSYS revenue) models, analyze adoption rates of new technology, perform capacity evaluations and other financial metrics to forecast revenue. Updates financial system with forecasted run rates for products; tracks and reports to management forecast versus actual results. Mitigates obstacles to completing analysis by entry level analysts. Provides Subject Matter Expert guidance for financial performance analysis and complex ad:hoc reporting for budget, forecast and strategic plans. Addresses any obstacles and advises leader on mitigation measures. Develops / prepares cost analysis using specifications provided by clients to build expense models, analyze new equipment technology, perform capacity evaluations and other financial metrics to forecast revenue. Updates financial system with forecasted run rates for products; tracks and reports to management forecast versus actual results. Mitigates obstacles to completing analysis by entry level analysts. Develops pricing models/plans and implements pricing policies for use across North American (NA) and International (EU) business segments. Monitors industry and regulatory developments and provides best practices/guidance in order to influence and maintain consistency across business segments. Works closely with the sales team to create pricing proposals that result in new name sales wins that deliver both revenue and margin growth, backed up with the delivery of robust forecasting highlighting any future risks (currency, substitution, disintermediation, etc.).
