The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:Job Overview:The Senior Privacy Associate Attorney/Counsel will provide legal counsel to clients on privacy compliance matters and represent clients in litigation and regulatory proceedings related to alleged privacy violations. The role requires excellent academic credentials, privacy certifications, and demonstrated leadership in the community and/or industry.Duties:Provide legal counsel to clients on privacy compliance matters.Represent clients in litigation and regulatory proceedings related to alleged privacy violations.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop privacy compliance strategies.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to privacy.Requirements:Minimum of 10 years of experience in privacy compliance and/or litigation.Extensive experience counseling clients on privacy compliance and/or representing clients in litigation and regulatory proceedings.Excellent academic credentials.Privacy certifications are required.Demonstrated community and/or industry involvement and leadership.Clerkship experience is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California.Certifications:Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPT, CIPM) are required.Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to work individually on client matters.Drive and commitment to client service.
