Senior Medical OR Sales Representative

Summary: Senior Medical Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and fosteringrelationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across the facility/hospital.They mobilize resources to anticipate and respond to customer needs, problems,and opportunities at the facility level. SR implement and execute sales demandstrategies. ******Must have Orthopedic/Trauma Sales experience selling in the OR.*******Specific Responsibilities:• Achieve all territory sales objectives annually in alignment with the businessstrategy and annual compensation plan.• Develop an understanding of each account’s culture, competitive pressures,financial state, stakeholders and decision makers.• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clinical andadministrative staff in assigned accounts. Through outstanding customer service,maintain a high retention rate of current accounts in territory.• Display and leverage strong knowledge of products. Be able to provide hard dataaround all products, as well as account references.• Complete business analytics and regional reporting assignments in a timely,accurate fashion. Conduct quarterly business reviews to exhibit achievement ofsales goals in all assigned accounts.• Maintain awareness of competitive products and marketing practices, and keepsales management informed concerning them.• Manage inventory of assigned products in accounts, as requested, and facilitateproduct returns in accordance with Company policy.• Verbally deliver clear and concise instruction on the safe and efficacious use ofassigned products to customers in and out of the OR setting, including in-servicesfor surgeons and clinical staff.• Scrub into surgical procedures utilizing assigned product line on a daily basis. Befully able to answer questions about the products.• Participate fully in training on new products and procedures through in personand online training programs.• Adjust customer complaints in accordance with Company policy, and advisesales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales Representative’sscope of authority.Skills/Competencies:• Highly effective organizational and communication skills• Strong documented sales results over time• Ability to build rapport and relationships by interacting with physicians and otherexternal contacts (i.e. office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness oftheir needs and responding with the appropriate action in a timely mannerCompensation Range: Base Salary 45-55K + Commissions (Comp Range 85K-125K)Healthcare CoverageCar AllowanceEducation/Experience:• Bachelor's Degree or higher required• Must have 3+ years Medical Sales experience required ****• 2 years minimum Operating Room Hardware or Biologics sales.• Valid Driver's License and clean driving recordWorking Conditions• Busy working environment with combination of office and server room settings.• Frequently required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, reach, and sit.• Requires full range of body motion including manual, finger dexterity, and hand eyecoordination.• Often standing and working for extended periods of time.
