This role will be responsible for delivery performance, material control processes and improvements, supplier planning, inventory control, warehouse management, and profit planning/ budgeting. Staff, develop, and manage performance for your Materials team members. Lead the implementation of tools, systems, and processes that improve operating efficiencies and reduce costs within the plant and supporting supply chains. Job Requirements: BS/BBA (or equivalent in experience) Contract Manufacturing experience Experience with inventory forecasting, developing master production schedules, and reducing scheduling variances Extensive knowledge and experience with MRP and ERP systems * Epicor 10 a plus Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical procedures, business periodicals, and journals, as well as write reports and procedure manuals In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement, and distribution) Superior understanding of manufacturing material flow in a plant Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) Proactive change agent with leadership skills to build and maintain a team-oriented environment Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff and interact with various departments throughout the organization
