Sesame Workshop is seeking a Senior. Manager, Strategy & Operations , to serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on key decisions around Sesame Workshop’s global commercial media business , including content distribution, consumer products licensing, themed entertainment , digital and interactive . This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. It offers the unique opportunity to influence decisions across all revenue streams of a commercial media business, work for a mission-driven non-profit, and help steward an iconic brand – Sesame Street. Responsibilities Advising senior executives with recommendations on media distribution strategy, business development priorities, deal negotiations , and other commercial priorities Conducting analyses (e.g., financial models, market landscapes, competitive benchmarking, etc.) to inform and support these recommendations Summarizing these analyses in presentations for senior management and board members Serving as subject matter expert on the commercial industries in which Sesame Workshop operates and Sesame Workshop’s partners and competitors in these industries Providing input on budgeting and long-range planning Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 3 -5 years of strategy and business planning experience; 2+ years of management consulting or investment banking experience preferred Passion for media and entertainment; experience strongly preferred Strong analytical skills, including experience with conducting financial analysis and modeling A bility to write effectively and communicate ideas in PowerPoint decks Excellent communication skills, including presentation skil ls A bility to collaborate with people from different backgrounds , levels of experience, and cultures Integrity, positive attitude, and driven by Sesame Workshop’s mission Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gende r Identity
