Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

Description:
Vaco Boston is seeking a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting. Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and filing of 10-Qs and 10-Ks, including financial statements, footnotes, and Management's Discussion and Analysis Conduct and oversee disclosure research for new or changing requirements. Support upper management for various disclosure and audit committee meetings, including preparation of presentations. Oversee the preparation of technical accounting assessments, including proper research and whitepaper documentation Lead the development of and conformance with U.S. GAAP worldwide accounting policies Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in SEC filings Coordinate and facilitate external audit processes related to SEC reporting Maintain internal controls related to SEC reporting, ensuring compliance with SOX. - Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA strongly preferred 7+ years of experience in public accounting and/or industry experience related to SEC reporting Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and technical accounting standards.
