The ideal candidate should have a technical background in software, computer science, electrical, or mechanical areas. They must possess strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality client service. The attorney will work closely with experienced lawyers, receive active mentoring, and have opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to intellectual property litigation matters.Draft substantive pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Organize, conduct, and manage discovery practices, including e-discovery.Participate in hearings and depositions.Interface directly with clients and provide strategic legal advice.Work closely with experienced lawyers on case strategy and management.Assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Requirements:6+ years of experience in intellectual property litigation.Technical background in software, computer science, electrical, or mechanical areas.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar or eligibility for admission.Trial experience preferred.Strong academic credentials.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to providing high-quality client service.
