The organization was founded in 2019 by Chelsea Jewish Lifecare (Chelsea and Peabody) and JGS Lifecare (Longmeadow). Other organizations part of the Legacy Lifecare family include Deutsches Altenheim (West Roxbury) and Sisters of Charity - Halifax's Elizabeth Seton Residence and Marillac Residence (Wellesley). Together, these organizations own and operate six skilled nursing facilities, four assisted living residences and two independent living residences across six campuses in Massachusetts. Additional services include home health care, hospice and palliative care, and adult day health care. We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team! The primary role of the Senior Human Resources Business Partner is to manage complex employee relations issues by providing guidance and direction to senior leaders and HR Generalists. The Senior HRBP will ensure the consistent application of all HR policies and procedures which impact the organization. The position will serve as a key partner between leadership and the HR generalists by providing objective, quality guidance and resolution, and supporting leaders and their teams through strategy, execution and performance management. The right candidate will possess strong communication skills and knowledge of HR functions to assess and anticipate HR related needs and communicate proactively with the necessary parties.Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Manages workplace investigations from intake through interview, escalation, and redirection or closure Coordinates with HR Generalists to resolve complex employee relations issues Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership team such as coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions Consults on all involuntary terminations and ensures proper termination process is followed Analyzes trends and metrics through stay interviews and other forms of employee feedback in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies Provides training and guidance on exit interview process and interprets data collected Facilitates communication between HR Generalists and Cost Management and Attends unemployment hearings, as necessary In collaboration with HR Leadership provides training and coaching to HR and BU Leaders Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention Acts as HR Generalist in event of vacancy Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources and 5 years of direct HR experience; or 10 years in high-level Human Resources role Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills required Strong facilitation or training skills Working knowledge of multiple human resources functions, including, but not limited to, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws (FMLA, PFML, ADA, FLSA) Experience working with managers on complex performance management, disciplinary and termination issues Ability to maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and timely documentation of assigned work Solid analytical and computer skills Ability to travel within Massachusetts Job Posted by ApplicantPro
