Here are some key accountabilities of the role: This position is responsible for assisting Distribution Services teams by supporting, improving and promoting TJX Canada’s health and safety policies and procedures and Claims Management. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the identification, prevention, elimination and/or control of workplace hazards with the ongoing maintenance of the company’s health and safety programs and development of OHS policies, procedures, and programs Support in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the functioning Distribution Centre Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and the Internal Responsibility System (IRS) Support and provide safety expertise (SME) on Investigation of accidents, critical injuries or incidents with high potential for injury or property damage and recommend appropriate corrective measure, controls and /or program improvements as required Participates in the development and ongoing management of the health and safety strategy for TJX Canada and develops the health.
