There has been an opening for a Senior Geotechnical engineer to join a dynamic team of forward thinking, industry professionals at their Glasgow location. You will be technically capable and a good communicator in your role as Senior Geotechnical Engineer. Relevant design experience to include but not limited to earthwork design, slope stability, foundation design, pile design, soil nailing, ground anchors, gravity and embedded retaining wall design. Benefits: Competitive salary Annual profit related bonus Continuous training and development This is a design consultancy with 50 full time members of staff, with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, York and London. They also carry out work in the rail industry, transportation, energy, heavy civil engineering, and structural sectors. The successful candidate will: Have a degree qualified in civil engineering (MSc in geotechnical engineering is advantageous) Prepare technical reports (e. g. Ground Investigation and Geotechnical Design repots) Help in managing the workload of the team to ensure quality delivery of work.
