Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Norwich) Reference: BY1192 Salary: GBP42,000 : GBP48,000 This expanding ground investigation and geotechnical consultancy are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of approximately a dozen specialists on a range of projects across Norfolk and the East. The opportunity will provide excellent career progression support, as part of a wider group of 27 nationwide companies contributing to company development and success. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer role offers: A competitive salary (GBP42,000 : GBP48,000). Company benefit and pension scheme. Social and niche team. Work on a variety of exciting projects. Team leading and work with specialists in a supportive environment. This Senior Geotechnical Engineer role will require overseeing all site and report work, managing contracts, communicating with clients, tendering, and interpretative report writing. Youll be in an excellent initial position to move into a managerial role, should you wish, taking on business development responsibilities and overseeing the company as a whole. Therefore, the Senior Geotechnical Engineer selected will have: Experience as a geotechnical engineer and familiarity with UK site investigation techniques. An understanding of geo: environmental schemes relating to contaminated land. A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering or a similar, relevant subject. Hold a valid UK Driving licence. A full right to work in the UK. Commutable to Norwich/Norfolk. Proactive and able to work in high pressure situations.
