Summary/Purpose of Position Reports to the Associate Director of FP&A and is primarily responsible for spending reporting, including actual spending, forecasting and annual budgets, completion of various spending analyses and monthly financial reporting.This hybrid role provides flexibility to work 3 days on site weekly in Warwick, RI and 2 days remotely. Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities Monthly compilation of actual spending, including explanations of variances to Forecast and BudgetCompiling the projections and annual budget for spending with input from the various department heads for management review for total SurgeryBalance sheet account analysis and reconciliation to the General LedgerCompiling various spending analyses for management review on a periodic basisEnsure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as well as corporate financial policiesAssist with financial modeling for various investment proposalsSupport the platform team providing financial analysis and support of platform business case modelsSAP/CONS monthly balance sheet roll forward submissionVarious other special projects as assigned Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationMinimum 2- 3 years of relevant business experienceCPA, CMA or MBA preferredWorking knowledge of PC based systems, with strong knowledge of spreadsheet packages and database management software.SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) a plusJD Edwards (JDE) a plusStrong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills.For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company's receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
