Description:
The Estimator Specialist will provide detailed and precise cost analyses and project estimations to support the development of competitive bids and effective project planning in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: -Conduct detailed cost estimations for construction projects, including materials, labor, and other relevant expenses.-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.-Analyze project specifications and blueprints to understand project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.-Develop comprehensive and competitive proposals tailored to the specific needs of each client.-Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and project information.-Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitiveness in proposals.-Assist in project budgeting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.-Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations as needed.-This is a full time position working in our offices. Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with Pre-Engineered steel buildings.-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.-Proven experience in construction estimation and proposal writing, preferably in the design-build industry.-Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, RSMeans).-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.-Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.-Knowledge of sustainable design and construction practices is a plus.
