Our mission is supported by our relationship with Jefferson Health, a leading academic medical center in the U.S., dedicated to collecting and analyzing valuable real-world data and developing educational initiatives with a focus on patient outcomes and quality of life, and we continue to seek out additional opportunities to partner with medical organizations to enhance consumer education about the benefits of thoughtful cannabis use.Position Summary/ObjectiveThe Senior Director of Sales Relationships is responsible for developing and leading the sales and cannabis procurement strategy for Ethos in all operating states. They will lead and develop the wholesale team to partner with both the retail and supply chain teams enabling continued success serving our customers and ensuring wholesale growth. This position oversees the wholesale function and will direct the cannabis purchasing team and ensure their cohesive working relationship together and across Ethos.The ideal candidate can adapt to our business model and has demonstrated leadership experience, as this position will be given responsibility over the strategic development of sales partnership growth and optimization of our business to support a best-in-class retail cannabis experience. Previous cannabis experience is a strong preference but not required; however, all candidates should have some familiarity and comfortability with cannabis.This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.Responsibilities· Leadership, strategic development, and centralization of the wholesale and product procurement functions across the company designed to optimize enterprise value.· Champion and develop team members and grow the team as appropriate to enhance performance.· Enable a team culture and environment that embraces Ethos's core values.· Establish improved structure, processes, and appropriately controlled systems for wholesale and product procurement functions.· Create, build, and develop relationships with cannabis growers and providers to grow internal knowledge, leverage sales opportunities, and gain brand equity throughout marketplace.· Lead product procurement, inventory management, and supply and demand analysis and planning for finished or saleable cannabis products and accessories across the company.· Provide information and support to the retail and supply chain teams to help assess and set pricing and discounts for all cannabis products and accessories across the company.· Work closely with the non-cannabis procurement function and others in the organization to deploy strategies, processes, and systems for integrated materials management, procurement, program, and cash flow management.· Continuously assess and implement programs or changes that optimize capability/quality and cost efficiencies in consultation with other functions.· Enable our Retail and Production Teams to excel in serving our customers.QualificationsEducation:· Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, and/or supply chain-related or equivalent work experienceWork Experience:· 5-8 years of experience in sales, cannabis experience strongly preferred· 2-5 years of managerial experience· Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, business analytics, and demand forecasting software· Operations experience includes working knowledge of procurement, logistics, vendor management, inventory optimization, and supply and demand analysis and planning· History of success in creating portfolios of recurring revenuesCapabilities and Skills:· Strong people and communication skills· Advanced skill with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook· Demonstrated process-oriented skills· Elevated level of integrity and a strong work ethic· Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead a dynamic team· Highly organized with attention to detail· Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics, and read, analyze, and interpret reports relating to inventory performance metrics· Strong critical thinking skills including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm composure· Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multigenerational environmentOther Requirements:· Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible· Must pass stringent state background test requirements· This position requires travel to the markets and locations in which Ethos operates, as planned for, and needed.Compensation: Annual salary with additional incentive compensationThis position is classified as Exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay.Ethos Cannabis is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in the recruitment, selection, or advancement of employees on basis of race, sex, color, national origin, creed, age, religion, marital status, disability, political affiliation, or on any other basis prohibited by law.Employment opportunities shall be provided for applicants with disabilities and reasonable accommodation(s) shall be made to meet the physical or mental limitations of qualified applicants or employees.
