The Arc Lexington, an award-winning agency that empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives, is seeking a Senior Director of Communications and Public Relations to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Director of Communications and Public Relations will be responsible for leading the communications team in developing and implementing effective communication and marketing strategies that enhance The Arc Lexington's reputation and visibility. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, senior staff, and Board of Directors to identify and leverage opportunities for promoting The Arc Lexington's mission and services to various stakeholders. You will also oversee the development and distribution of all marketing and communication materials, including social media, email marketing, press releases, and other collateral. The Arc Lexington also includes affiliates such as The Lexington Foundation, Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, and Transitions. As Senior Director of Communications and Public Relations, you will work with these affiliates to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that align with their respective missions and goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations. Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills Experience with social media, email marketing, and content management systems Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective communication and marketing strategies Experience managing staff or volunteers We hope you will join us in making a difference!
