Description: Our public sector client is seeking an Senior IT Business Analyst for a 9-month contract term of employment to assist with a COTS software implementation project. The successful candidate will work with the Project Management and Delivery Office and will be required to be onsite 2 days a week. Senior IT Business Analyst candidates will have 10+ years’ experience with an emphasis cus on COTS software implementations and IT projects. Responsibilities : Capture business requirements from design documents. Conduct design sessions with stakeholders. Develop current and future state process documentation. Conduct test case development. Provide support during go-live. Identify and document project risks. Assist with the onboarding of IT customer departments. Conduct and participate in customer sessions to gather and document customer requirements. Collect and document application inventories. Plan business capability changes for the purpose of building multi-year customer roadmaps outlining projects and initiatives to meet customer needs. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of experience acting in the role of a Business Analyst in an Information Technology environment. Good knowledge and understanding of ITIL, process diagramming, customer journey mapping, software development/configuration, Azure Dev Ops, Share Point (Nice to Have), requirements stewardship and quality assurance management in the software development lifecycle.
