Here are some key accountabilities of the role: Process end to end occupational and non-occupational claims and accommodations that are temporary or permanent. Activities include related administration, decision-making facilitation, and record retention with internal and external partners (i. e. Human Resources departments and i. e. Insurance Carriers / Third Party Providers). Demonstrate sensitivity and effectiveness in communicating with ill or injured Associates and Associates with disabilities. Develops appropriate medically-supported workplace accommodations for Associates with illness/injury, mental health, and or other disabilities within their own occupational or any occupation across the company. Implements work plans / agreements to ensure both a safe and sustainable return to work for Associates and cost effective disability management practices on behalf of the business.
