A Typical Day The Senior Business Analyst provides complex business analysis and modeling relative to key statistical information and business performance metrics. As the Sr Business Analyst , you will actively participate in strategic department meetings and provide analytical insight to management to drive business strategy. The Senior Business Analyst will: Gather business requirements, and interpret them into practical technical solutions Interact and coordinate with system developers and business subject matter experts on application changes, development, and deployment Create and maintain system and user documentation Coordinate and conduct testing Provide regular verbal and written reports to management and business community Create and maintain project plans Design and generate reports Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values What You'll Bring Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills a must Excellent organizational skills a must Experience with SQL Data analysis experience a plus Knowledge of report development (Excel and SSRS) Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS Experience with Tableau a plus Must be highly proficient in Excel including creating pivots and vlookups Experience in building stored procedures, DML, and DDL scripts Experience in Loan Servicing and/or Loan Origination a plus Why You Should Join As one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
