Primary Duties and Responsibilities: As a Senior Business Analyst (BA)/ Project Manager (PM) serves in a pivotal role bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, plus managing the implementation of these solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to identify, analyze, and document business requirements, and then translate them into actionable project plans. Expertise will be instrumental in guiding IT projects to successful completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering high-quality solutions that enhance the College's success. This role is a key "trusted advisor" role for the Planning, Performance, and Technology (PPT) area which will collaboratively work with internal Institution stakeholders, IT stakeholders, and external partners to define and implement solutions (large and small) for the College. The BA/PM should bring a broad knowledge of planning and performance standards to help guide and define solutions, get buy-in from all the stakeholders, and see the solutions executed with quality in a timely manner. After implementation the BA/PM will ensure the solution is properly owned and maintained, and new requests from the Institution are managed. Acts as a liaison with all departments to understand, analyze, and maximize the effectiveness of all system and workflows. Communicates effectively with each internal customer to fully understand needs, and successfully communicates/translates those needs into solutions. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Determines solutions or configurations by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes Drives full utilization/maximization of current systems, ensuring the practice effectively implements the latest system enhancements, and that workflows are adapted to maximize the combination of system and operational efficiency Analyzes, documents, and tests program development, logic, process flows and specifications. Sets standards for project management strategies, system implementation, and communication. Lead cross-functional IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans. Manage project resources, timelines, and risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders regularly. Helps to ensure proper support and maintenance for IT systems are in place and participates in major incident management processes. Maintains a working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements and ensures that compliance with all laws and regulations is maintained. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education Bachelors Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Industry certifications such as PMP preferred, but not required. Experience Minimum of four years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Project Manager required. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations. Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Excellent understanding and experience with managing business complexity, project interdependencies, and organization change. Skill in developing, implementing, administering, and improving work processes. Working Conditions: Computers and related peripherals with associated application systems. Administrative office, varied working hours with 24/7 availability. Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines and equipment including computer, office equipment, telephone, etc. Physical demands include sedentary work, campus meetings, and day and overnight travel. Tasks may require extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation. This position requires a background check and drug screen. Hybrid Remote Eligible: YES Pay Grade: Managerial 8 Salary/90,000.00 - 105,000.00 Competitive starting pay is dependent on education and experience.
