The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience in civil litigation, particularly in state and federal courts, and exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills. The role requires managing case dockets, conducting and defending depositions, and appearing in court. Experience in multi-district litigation is advantageous.Job Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:Minimum of 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience conducting and defending depositions.Proven ability to manage a case docket.Proficiency in appearing in court.Experience with multi-district litigation is a plus.Trial experience is highly desirable.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Virginia or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
