Senior Accounting Manager - Accounting

Description:
Salary Range: $63.73 - $105.15 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education. The Accounting Manager III is leader in the accounting department with the following responsibilities: - Oversee multiple accounting operations with high complexity - Often supported by a director level leader (high independence / ownership required) - Coordinate, develop, review and implement accounting policies and procedures for their responsible areas - Lead project planning & implementation efforts related to their responsible areas - Oversee month-end closings for their responsible areas - Lead cross-departmental / shared service responsibilities such as AP, ERP management / administration, payroll accounting, cash accounting, etc. - Heavy involvement in strategic planning efforts of the department, especially around their responsible areas - Supervise and mentor multiple teams of accountants consisting of senior and leadership level members Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA certification strongly preferred - Minimum of 10-15 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years of management experience - Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and international financial regulations - Mastery of advanced accounting software and ERP systems - Exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills - Superior communication and team building skills Certifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Hoag is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
