Do you love analyzing data, organizing, and problem-solving? We want to hear from you! We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to help keep our clients financial information in order and up to date. You will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements in QuickBooks, preparing business tax returns, servicing payroll clients, cashflow and budget analysis, etc. If this sounds like you, we highly encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: • Prepare all financial statements and bank reconciliations• Process payroll to provide payment to employees on time• Prepare corporate and partnership business tax returns• Prepare business financial statements including the income statement and balance sheet using QuickBooks• Cashflow and Budget Analysis Qualifications: • Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills• Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar• Experience in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required• Ability to solve problems using critical thinking skills• Understanding of the payroll process and how it works• Must be located in the United States Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly About Company: Denman, Hamilton, & Associates, CPA, PLLC is an accounting firm committed to meeting the needs of those we serve.
