LOCATION: Wild Horse Pass Development Authority COMPENSATION: $62,150-$74,618 annually HOURS OF WORK: Full-Time FLSA STATUS: Exempt SUPERVISORY: No REPORTS TO: WHPDA Controller Position Summary : The Senior Accountant position is responsible for serving as a team leader in the Finance Department and ensuring the department creates accurate and timely financial records for the organization. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Analyzes accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department. Works with the Director of Finance, Controller and/or Accounting Manager on appropriate fiscal strategies for the organization. Reviews records of accounts to ensure accuracy. Creates forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel. Key Qualifications - Education & Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, or equivalent number of years of experience plus five (5) years of accounting experience.
