If you have the passion and determination to grow within an organisation, then this is your chance to join a team of highly trained and qualified professionals, who will support you and your accounting journey In the Semi Senior Accountant role, you will be: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports for a wide range of businesses and individuals Preparing VAT, corporation, and personal tax returns, and conducting financial analysis and reconciliations Advising, assisting and resolving queries for a portfolio of clients in a timely manner Training and supporting clients in navigating online accounting platforms Completing general admin duties including the preparation of client bookkeeping To be considered for the Semi Senior Accountant job, you will need: Previous practice and accounting experience High levels of competency in preparing accounts on a monthly and annual basis, including VAT returns Qualified by experience or qualification AAT, CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent or close to doing so, and already working within a practice environment. Excellent IT skills with experience using accounting software including Sage, Xero and Quick Books Strong communication and customer service skills with the talent to establish and maintain high standards of personal conduct and professional relationships This is a permanent position, working full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Temporary opportunities and part time working hours may also be on offer for the right person. You’ll be working from offices based in Chester, and on an annual salary ranging from £22,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
