Armed Security Officer for Diligence Security Group executes all tasks related to maintaining standards in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures.This role REQUIRES:Valid Guard Card LicenseValid Firearms LicenseOwn Vest & FirearmTaser TrainingBaton PermitPepper / OC Spray CertificationCPR / First Aid CertificationWhat We Offer Can YOU:Full-Time and Part-Time OpportunitiesMedical, Vision, and Dental after 90 days of employmentFlexible SchedulingWeekly PayrollPosition Duties:Responds to unusual or emergency situations at client's site using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established protocol.Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons. Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process; precludes unauthorized access to facilities, and the conversion, theft, or intentional destruction of physical assetsMonitors entrances and exits; acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry; controls entrances, the movement of people and vehicles, and parking.Has a working knowledge and understanding of the Specific and General Post instructions for all Branch posts; has practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by the client.Observe and report activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.Preserves orders and acts to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.Patrols assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and security violations.Examines doors, windows, and gates of assigned posts to determine that they are secure.Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.Inform the Site/Field Supervisor of matters/issues that cannot wait until the next workday. Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles, and expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.Prepares logs and reports as required.Other duties may be assigned.Additional Education/ Experience:Valid State Drivers License.Microsoft Office software and working knowledge of Internet programs.Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience, is a plus.Associate's degree or higher in any discipline, A plus.Skills & Competencies:Passion for providing top-level security serviceStrong ability to effectively de-escalate situationsEffective oral and written communication skillsFluent in English (written and verbal).
