Summary: Evergreen Fire and Security is looking for a qualified Security Specialist Technician in San Diego, CA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced low voltage technician. Works under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager as a field representative on installations, testing and maintenance of low voltage security systems. Job Duties and Functions: * Installs, repairs, test, and maintenance of security projects as assigned. * Provides field customer service to customer and represent EFS. * Ensures compliance with all State and Federal regulations as applicable to service, installation and maintenance of all systems, including OSHA safety standards. * Accurately complete all paperwork directly related to the service orders and projects. * Trains customers on the usage of all applicable products used in installation and/or upgrades. * Limited travel as necessary. * Upholds professional appearance at all times. * Maintains confidentiality at all times. * Completes all other duties as assigned within your qualifications. Experience and Skills: Required Experience: * Security + (current version) * Windows 7 config (now win 10) * 70-642 TS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring * 70-640 TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring * 7A-433 TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Database Development * 70-432 TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance * Must obtain and maintain OSHA 30 certificate * Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid card * Valid Electrician certificate or trainee card * High school diploma or equivalent * IT or an electrical background. Basic electrical wiring experience * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office 7) * Good communication skills to interface with customers * Ability to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions and code requirements * Attention to detail * Ability to work autonomously * Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude * Required to obtain Secret Level or higher security clearance * Must have a valid driver's license and proof of minimum liability insurance * Must be able to pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug and MVR screenings Preferred: * Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of verifiable related work experience * Experienced in the IT field * Experienced electrician * Current Secret Level or higher security clearance * Certifications or experience on the following: MDI, Vindicator, DAQ, Lenel, AMAG, Advantor, HIRSCH Systems * Security + (501 or 401) * Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases preferred We agree to post in conspicuous places available to employees and applicants for employment, notices to be provided by the contracting officer setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination clause.
