Securiguard is currently looking for a driven and efficient Security Manager to provide support to our Edmonton Alberta operations. Working with our internal and external stakeholders the Security manager is to ensure the safety & security regulations, policies and procedures are followed to ensure the efficient and safe operations of the site What you would do: Provides leadership, supervision, and discipline to all in-field security team members. Optimizes operations and performance within the Security teams. Manages the implementation and maintenance of site-specific post orders. Supports the Health and Safety Program to create a safety-minded culture on sites. Provides exceptional customer service by making recommendations for site improvements following industry best practices. Formulates creative solutions to suit business needs. Drives process improvements to encourage efficiency in business processes. Liaise between the client and guard force to ensure communication and service delivery is held to the highest mutual standard. Present technological solutions and value-added service enhancements to the clients based on changing client needs. Monitor the training progress and post/site specific knowledge of each guard on site. Create, maintain and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual KPI reports to the client. What you bring. Minimum 3 years of experience as a supervisor / manager in an operational setting combined with or in addition to working in industrial security or law enforcement preferred. Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skill. Proficient in MS Suite applications. Prior experience with Access control and CCTV monitoring is preferred. Provincial Security Guard License required. Possess a valid Alberta Driver's License, have an acceptable Driver's Abstract.
