Job Duties May Include: The Best Western at The Meadows located at 1215 N Hayden Meadows Dr. Portland, OR 97217 is looking for customer service-oriented professionals who take pride in developing relationships with clients and teammates. If you're ready to take the next step, submit your resume today! This specific posting is for an overnight security position. This Position will guarantee a minimum of 40 hours per week. -Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry -Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; removing trespassers -Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, guests, visitors and the premises -Monitor fire and alarm systems -Respond to public and building emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and guests -Contact building engineers to report facility issues as necessary -Submit daily activities reports and maintain pass downs -Provide excellent customer service Preferred Qualifications: -High School diploma or equivalent required -Security experience is welcome but not required -Strong work ethic -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Reliability and Punctuality -Friendly and approachable demeanor -Quality personal grooming and hygiene Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Best Western at the Meadows 1215 N Hayden Meadows Dr Portland, OR 97217
