Security Officers are needed for a well-established and growing local security firm. A top security company with over 15 years in business locally in Montecito CA, is searching for qualified applicants to fill several High Profile Security Officer positions. Duties: May include the following Inspect and patrol property according to Post Orders Control Access Vehicle patrol of property Observe and report safety hazards Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings Secure all exits, doors, and windows. Monitor surveillance camera Be an ambassador of the company to the public Assist Patrol Officers and LEO with securing properties in the event of an alarm Light maintenance of patrol vehicle Light maintenance of company signage Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: The ability to multi-task effectively under pressure The ability to stand and remain alert for long periods of time (8+ hours) The ability to appropriately respond to and mitigate threats, environmental or other Situational Awareness Adaptability Powerful observation skills A positive, professional attitude You must have strong customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills A desire to learn new skills A desire to work with a team, as an actively participating team member Proficient with the use of GMail and other Google Services Proficient with the use of Android mobile devices General Computer Proficiency Competent Typing Abilities Report Writing Qualifications: You must have a current Drivers' License and a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 2 years experience as a guard (preferred) Flexibility with schedules, including weekends, graves, overnights, and holidays. Military, LEO and/or prior security experience desired but not required Physical Requirements: You must be able to: Stand and remain alert for long periods of time (8+ hours) Be able to lift at minimum of 50lbs Full-time and Part-time work available. Schedules: 8-hour shift 12-hour shift Day shift Holidays Night shift Overtime Weekend availability Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Night Shift (Required) Overnight Shift (Required) - Additional Pay Available, ask for details Benefits: Paid time off and a 401(k), *Additional 2 hours of pay per shiftHiring/performance bonus for applicants at the 90/180-day mark. * Employees are eligible at company discretion to receive up to 2 additional hours of pay at regular rate for California Meal penalties per shift.* This is a Drug-Free/Smoke-Free workplace.
