Ability to act decisively and efficiently is crucial in safeguarding lives and giving a timely response to critical situations Critical thinking and a strong ability to observe and maintain situational awareness is a must-have skill for security officers. Attention to detail, recognizing suspicious behavior, and identifying potential threats. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES High school or GED, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. first responder, data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation. WORKING CONDITIONS Exposure to several elements such as, inclement weather, noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting up to 100 lbs.
