About this role We are recruiting for a Security and Healthcare Technology Specialist to join our Subject Matter Expert team in the Security and Healthcare Technology division. This team is based in Burnaby. Here's how your role will strengthen our team. Your responsibilities Work remotely and on customer sites for the installation, design, assembly, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of various electronic systems, including but not limited to: Nurse Call, RTLS, Audio, Video, Paging, Intercom, Security/Access Control, Telecommunication and Video Surveillance Act as a subject matter expert resource for PMs to assist with technical difficulties or issues. Inspect potential project sites and provide accurate estimation of required equipment and time Maintain and complete accurate as-builts and all system documentation for projects. Train end users on operations of provided systems. Develop and implement solutions to resolve interfacing or intercommunication problems between disparate systems. Commission and configure hardware and software for deployment/installation. Create and provide internal technical training resources and sessions for Houle team members. Your experience and skills Training in security/healthcare system and products, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection or related field Certification in at least one of the following platforms: Genetec, Kantech, Lenel, Milestone, Ascom Telligence, Guard RFID, or Sonitor Minimum 1-5 years working in a similar role, with technical expertise in related systems.
