Summary This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin,Office of Investigations- Deputy Inspector General for Investigations. As a Secretary (OA), you will be providing a variety of administrative support services to the division's area of responsibility. Duties This position may be filled at one of the following locations: Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Denver, CO, Kansas City, MO. The following are the duties of this position at the GS-8. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Assist the SAC or ASAC in planning, formulating, and executing various programs (e.g., space projects, inventory management, etc.). Input data to OI's case management systems for the division. Maintain property management and inventory data for area of responsibility (e.g., office equipment, personal equipment). Coordinate training and information to divisional staff regarding administrative programs and procedures as well as changes in these areas. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:Resolving administrative problems.Examples of this experience may include:- Answering phone calls and forwarding to the appropriate staff; OR- Performing quality review and making corrections of documents; OR- Maintain and adjust a supervisor's meetings as need; OR- Ensuring the accuracy of data in reports, identifying and correcting errors. How You Will Be Evaluated You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.You will be evaluated based on how well you meet the qualifications listed in this vacancy announcement.
