Do you have an interest in maintaining and beautifying parks? "There's more to explore" in the Parks Division as Seasonal Park Maintenance Staff. Pay Range: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour. Cleaning and maintenance of park grounds and facilities. Mowing with push mower or riding mower. Trimming with power weed trimmers or manually. Emptying garbage barrels and picking up litter. Cleaning and maintaining public restrooms. Flower beds – planting, weeding, watering. Athletic field maintenance and preparation for games. Picnic shelter preparations and clean up after rentals. Set up and tear down for special events. General maintenance and care of assigned equipment. Report any vandalism, unusual condition, emergency situation, or incident to the Park Manager. Follow all safety procedures that pertain to the duties performed. Support all aspects of the Park District Safety Program. Perform other related duties as assigned.
