About Our Opportunity The Nova Scotia Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic person to add to its Marketing team. Reporting to the Manager, Market Development, the successful candidate is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing and brand strategies to support Nova Scotia’s seafood industry in domestic and international markets. The Seafood Marketing Officer works strategically to promote and grow the Nova Scotian seafood economy. Primary Accountabilities As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for: Develop and implement domestic and international marketing projects and initiatives for the Nova Scotia Seafood industry in collaboration with key stakeholders. Manage website and develop marketing materials to promote Nova Scotia seafood. Produce engaging content for the Nova Scotia Seafood Brand's social media platforms, such as Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, aimed at promoting the seafood industry and increasing the awareness of Nova Scotia seafood. Analyze social media metrics to optimize the social media presence. Stay updated on seafood marketing trends and innovations. Develop and implement marketing strategies to support Nova Scotia Seafood industry. Monitor, analyze, and report marketing data. Provide project management for international trade.
