Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Scientist Position type: Full-time Contract Duration: 12+ months of contract Location: South San Francisco, California As a Scientist your responsibilities: Seeking a contractor with attention to detail who can support front-to-back sample management and shipment organization. Primary Responsibilities: Inventory and registration of tissue samples. Label tissue samples according to internal identification and tissue type. Catalog stained slides and FFPE tissue blocks for archival purposes. Communicate closely with external vendors to organize periodic shipments. May be asked to manage various tasks in support of the Anatomic Pathology laboratory human tissue panels. Qualifications: Required Education: Associate's degree OR Bachelor's degree with equivalent direct work experience of minimum two (2) years of in laboratory setting within hospital/pharma/biotech or CRO. Proficiency in working with tabular data (i.e. Microsoft Excel) Strong organizational and time management skills Strong written communication skills Proven track record of analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail. High personal integrity and credibility Preferred Experience and Skills: Proficiency in Labware Biorepository database, or similar tissue banking software Prior experience in sample management Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
