Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.As a Data Reviewer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of scientific data, particularly related to environmental samples and chromatographic analyses. Additional duties include: * Data Review and Verification * Review scientific data, including chromatograms, collected from environmental samples (air, soil, water, etc.). * Verify data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established protocols. * Identify any discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies. * Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure compliance with environmental testing procedures. * Give feedback in a timely manner when errors are discovered. * Generate EDDs and reports. * Address concerns related to data integrity and quality promptly. * Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards. * Assist in Quality Assurance audits of laboratory. * Comply with laboratory quality assurance plan and other policies * Other duties as assignedYOUR EXPERTISE & SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * BA/ BS Degree in Chemistry or Natural Science (or equivalent training) * 2 years' experience in an analytical chemistry environment; Chemstation software experience is a plus * Experience with data chromatography and instrument software (e.g., Sciex OS, Masslynx, Targetlynx). * Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.) * Familiarity with environmental regulations and guidelines relevant to our laboratory.Desired Skills: * Strong attention to detail. * Analytical mindset. * Knowledge of environmental regulations. * Effective communication skills. * Ability to interpret complex data. * Excellent time management skills. * Ability to multitask.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
