Job Summary SCIENCE TEACHER Bishop DuBourg High School, a co-ed Catholic school, is accepting applications for Science teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Bishop DuBourg High School is committed to educating a diverse coeducational community, enabling young people to reach their full potential. Job Requirements KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education or a related field Valid Missouri teaching certification (Grades 9-12) Three or more successful years of teaching experience preferred but NOT required. Work collaboratively as part of a team in a Professional Learning Community Effectively manage the classroom environment Differentiate instruction to challenge and meet the needs of all students. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Areas of need include Biology and Physical Science, but there is also the possibility of teaching additional science classes as well (chemistry, Earth science, elective classes) Candidates with the ability and desire to teach an additional subject area are welcome to apply. Depending on candidate qualifications/preference and school needs the position can be designed as either a full time or part time position.
