Woodford's Family Services is seeking an on-call substitute for multiple schools in Androscoggin County! If you are currently and Ed Tech III or have a minimum of 90 College Credits, and have the flexibility to accommodate an on-call position, we want to hear from you! Who We Are Woodfords Family Services is a nonprofit organization that's been committed to the support and inclusion of people with special needs and their families in Maine communities for over 55 years! Today, the organization provides an array of clinical, behavioral health and educational programs to more than 2,000 children, youth and adults living with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses across the state of Maine. Position Summary The School-based BHP Program at Woodfords is actively searching for more BHPs to join their growing team of professionals who are committed to the support and inclusion of children and teens with special needs and their families. As a School-based BHP, you will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives. Individual goals are assessed and related to the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and community inclusion. Through the use of evidence-based practices, you will help foster a therapeutic, enriched, and meaningful learning environment for students with developmental, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders. Highlights: Per-diem, As Needed, 7:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday ( No Weekends!) $375 Sign-on Bonus! $20.00 - $22.00/hour (commensurate with experience) Not currently certified as a School-Based BHP? We'll train the right candidates! If you're a Maine resident and have a minimum of 60 college credits, a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and current proof of auto insurance, you are eligible to provide school-based supports. Woodfords will cover the trainings at NO cost to the employee! Qualifications Minimum of 60 college credits required, 90 credits strongly preferred. Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred.
