Locations: Revere Public School Schedule: Monday-Friday mornings and afternoons from 2:15pm - 5:45pm MUST HAVES: High School Diploma 6 months of formal experience 18 years of age or older Pay & Benefits: Part-time benefits are available Employee referral program - up to $150 for every successful new hire you refer Deep discounts on program tuition for dependents - Bring your school-age child to work for $10/week Friendship and laughter comes with a paycheck! As an AlphaBEST Guide, you'll be trained and have the chance to do the following: Plan and facilitate core programming to advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children. Work collaboratively with peers to share program-related information and complete adventurous tasks that ignite a child's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on the student's interests and talents. Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered. Here's what you'll need: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs Must be registered and have full clearance from the Massachusett's Department of Early Education and Care's Background Check program Proof of experience through ONE of the following options is required: 9 months of experience with school-age children including 3 months of supervised experience at a school-age child care program or; HS diploma or equivalent and 6 months of experience working with school-age children including 3 months of supervised experience at a school-age program Come join the AlphaBEST movement to help kids journey to greater discovery and connection to the world around them.
