SCENARIO DEVELOPER -Friendly/Environment Minimum Qualifications Summary Certification & Education--- High school education required--- Bachelor degree preferred--- Certification of English Language at level of (SLP) NATO STANAG 6001 - 3333 (if applicable)--- NATO Secret Clearance Experience Required--- Joint and Tactical Command HQ level experience (J/G2, J/G5 or J/G3/5) or its equivalent replicated during NATO exercises.--- Recent NATO exercise (within the last 3 years) and NATO-Partners exercise (within last 6 years) and/or operations planning experience.--- Recent (last 3 years) exercise planning experience as a scenario developer Friendly* and/or Environment*.--- Experience in the development of Exercise products portraying Operation Planning on Strategic/Operational and Tactical level.--- Experience on the development of Operation Plans at Brigade and Divisional Level.--- Comprehension of joint operations planning and the operational art.--- Comprehension of the production and dissemination of operations and intelligence products and Knowledge Development procedures.--- Comprehension of the principles of Security Force Assistance.--- Knowledge of the use of NATO doctrine, policy, processes, arrangements, and procedures.--- Deep knowledge and comprehension of NATO COPD and APP 28.--- Working knowledge and experience working with Functional Area Systems (FAS) (e.gTOPFAS, LOGFAS, NCOP).--- Ability to compose, edit, contribute to, and comprehend collaborative texts in advanced English language reflecting the terminology and usage of subject matter expertise.--- Standard Automated Data Processing and Communication and Information Systems (CIS) Knowledge--- Native English language speaker or individual presenting very good command of spoken and written English, with a proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at the level of (SLP) NATO STANAG 6001 - 3333 (must provide applicable documentation) Job Objective Support JFTC's goal of producing and sustaining exercise scenarios to support NG25Participate in the execution of the exercise and be able to create, refine, update, or alter scenario products through a collaborative process in response to direction and guidance and/or feedback as appropriateResponsibilities--- Develop and sustain material and information in the existing scenarios.--- Build and contribute to the scenario exercise databases.--- Participate as a member of Exercise Control during the exercise execution.--- Assist in the development of operational themes to be exercised by involved HQs.--- Participate in appropriate exercise planning meetings and scenario working groups.--- Travel as necessary in support of exercise activities.--- Collaborate within Exercise Planning Team, other contracted personnel and military SMEs.--- Contribute to the development of all scenario related products in their respective domain.--- Perform any other duty as directed by the Division, Branch, Section Chief or Scenario Lead that contributes to the mission accomplishment of the Joint Force Training Centre.--- Design, develop and produce scenario materials/information and, if required, modify the existing ones to provide conditions required to support the achievement of exercise aims and objectives and TA Training Objectives--- Design and produce scenario material and information with a particular focus on friendly forces (Operation Planning products on strategic, operational and tactical level) and environment in a complex non NATO Art.5 CRO environment including numerous stakeholders in a wide range of relationships to NATO--- Design and produce friendly forces structures (to portray force generation process) and doctrine for state and non-state conflict parties covering generic, fictitious, and semi-fictitious entities while applying contemporary operational art--- Design and produce non-military aspects of exercise scenario especially focused on the political, economic, social and information aspects and infrastructure--- Support OPFOR and conflict party planning teams.--- Support "Request for Information" systems/process.--- Create indigenous joint headquarters with a wide range of capabilities within the scenario to facilitate NATO Security Force Assistance missions.--- Support other scenario developers in their area of responsibility--- Support MELMIL development in their area of responsibility Education & Certification--- High school education required--- Bachelor degree preferred--- Certification of English Language at level of (SLP) NATO STANAG 6001 -
