*$1,500 Sign On Bonus* This is an overnight shift, hours are 12:00AM-8:00AM General Responsibilities: The employee is responsible for thoroughly cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting the facility, equipment, tools, and utensils prior to starting production. This position will act in conjunction with the QA pre-op staff as the room and equipment inspector(s) prior to release to QA for their inspections and swabbing. This position will work with the QA pre-op staff as part of the quality team for approximately two hours (4am to 6am) prior to releasing the plant for production. Specific Responsibilities: Responsible for getting the plant ready for Pre-Operational inspection by USDA and QA. Employee(s) are required to follow directions or instruction provided to them by QA Pre-op Lead. Employee is responsible to inspect the sanitation and maintenance of the assigned rooms and machines and notify his lead and/or maintenance of any changes in operation or needed repair. Responsible for understanding and instructing others on the proper use of chemicals and protective personal equipment (PPE). Able to lift 25 pounds continuously, working in a wet and humid environment through-out the shift. Future potential to train on how to conduct ATP swabs and data entry into the swabbing units Perform other tasks as assigned. Desired Background/Experience: Good communication skills both written and verbal. Must have 2 years of sanitation experience. Detail oriented as to acceptable cleanliness standards for the food industry. Thorough understanding of all plant GMPs and SSOPs for sanitation. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
