Professional Services Salesperson - In Person/Hybrid Why Work Here? While a personal history of a difficult family law situation is not a requirement, having gone through such an experience may help you empathize with our clients in a unique way. In order to be successful in this position, you should see sales as a service performed for our prospective clients, be able to effectively communicate the value of our services, possess excellent listening and interpersonal skills, be an avid learner with a history of self-improvement to keep your sales skills sharp and be comfortable explaining financial obligations. If you are good at sales, you will make at least $60,000 a year. If you are great at sales you WILL earn at least $75,000 a year. If you are phenomenal at sales, you can earn over $100,000 a year. Responsibilities:• You must be highly professional, courteous, affable, and respectful to potential clients.• You must be experienced in selling products and/or services, and able to delve deeply in prospects' lives while keeping up excellent customer service.• You should have a background in selling expensive tangible items and/or financial/professional services while employing a consultative approach.• You must be comfortable with metrics and able to discuss scorekeeping, transparency, and accountability accurately.• You need to have proof of practical experience that will enable you to relate to our customers who are dealing with complicated and personal matters. Qualifications:• You will meet with Potential New Clients by video conferencing, telephone, and in person, to help them find clarity about their situation, educate them about their options, and make the best decision for their future. YOU WILL NOT BE GIVING LEGAL ADVICE!• You will conduct meetings pursuant to office procedures to help bring new qualified cases into the firm. You will follow up with potential clients pursuant to the office procedure.• You are a fast learner and will go through intensive training on all aspects of family law.• You will become informed and be respectful of the bar rules of ethics and professionalism with special emphasis on the definition of providing legal services.• You will work with a team of "client intake specialists" and meet regularly with them to help them improve the process.• You will be responsible for ensuring that the new clients are prepared for a successful start to their case by sending them pre-conditioning materials.• Keeping detailed notes in a central database documenting all contacts with the prospective new client both before, during, and after the meeting (including all follow-up attempts).• You will facilitate a professional introduction (“hand-off”) to the legal team for every new client.• You will engage in marketing and outreach efforts to help promote the services we provide. You will join a local BNI group (1 early morning meeting per week) and promote our law firm’s services.• You will meet with potential referral sources to learn about their services (approximately 2 meetings per week).• You will help the Firm Owner book speaking engagements to explain our firm's family law services.
