Our Sales & Service Technicians are skilled professionals responsible for providing technical repair, service, and sales. They troubleshoot, install, maintain, and sell products found on farms of all sizes and protein. Role and Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on feed, water, ventilation, and electronic systems within livestock and horticulture facilities Adhere to all bio-security rules & regulations-for the health and safety of the animals and staff Identify and perform preventative maintenance issues at customer sites to avoid future operational failures Participate with other team members in sharing after-hours/weekend on-call rotation Safely travel to work on equipment in the field as well as in QC branches Maintain high level of cleanliness and accountability of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment Assist with scheduling repair appointments with clients Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and factory instructions Use computer and other technologies to investigate and repair equipment, maintain records of the repair, and perform invoicing Complete service reports, timecards, and order parts timely and accurately Ability to attend continuous education training Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements A High School Diploma or equivalent. An Associate's degree in industrial equipment technologies, mechanics, electrical trouble shooting, or related field is preferred. Mechanical experience 2+ years preferred Electrical experience 2+ years preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to be on feet most of the day Valid driver's license with clean driving record Preferred Skills Highly motivated, fast learner Positive and outgoing communication skills Experience in safe operation of automated/farm equipment Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to improvise and think outside the box Work well independently with limited supervision Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work in diverse and extreme weather conditions Benefits (Full-time roles only) Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Critical Illness, Accident and Group Legal Insurance, Flex Spending Account, Health Savings Account, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, and 401k match available after eligibility requirements are met.
